Are You a First-Time Guest?

If this is your first time here, we have a gift for you! Visit the welcome table by the entrance, and a member of our Guest Connections Team will happily assist you.

First Steps

Wondering what to do next? We’d love to get to know you more, give you a tour of the building, and answer any questions you have. Join us for our First Steps gathering in the library (down the hall and across from the sanctuary) any Sunday morning at 9:40.

Nursery and Childcare

Our nursery is available for infants to pre-k students on Sunday mornings during Sunday school and worship. We believe in family worship, so your kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with you. We have a time for children during worship where kids are invited to come forward to hear from our children’s ministry team. If your children are joining you in worship, we offer “wiggle bags” filled with activities for your children to do during worship. Wiggle bags may be found at the back of the worship space by the entrance.

What's New at First Methodist

Masterplan Q&A Sessions: September 19 and 23, 6:30 p.m., Room 125/127

If you would like to learn more about future plans for the Canyon campus, please join our Building Study Committee for an informational meeting. These meetings are opportunities to learn about new plans from Visioneering Studios and ask any questions you may have about this project.

Women’s Appreciation Come-and-Go Coffee: Saturday, September 28, 10:00 a.m. to noon, 19650 Hunters Run (Canyon)

Calling all women: come enjoy coffee, refreshments, and fellowship! Door prizes will be given out every 30 minutes, and valet parking will be available. We look forward to seeing you!

Street Party and Cornhole Tournament: Sunday, October 6, 6:00-8:00 p.m., East Side of Building

It’s almost time for our annual Street Party! Come enjoy the Cowboys game, live music, and great food! GrowGroups will be able to decorate their booth with a football theme and serve their favorite food. Those attending the party can vote for the best food by donating money to their favorite booth. All proceeds will benefit our Canyon Intermediate School adoption ministry, allowing our church to better serve the teachers and staff at CIS.

Candy Needed for Amarillo Campus Fall Festival

The Amarillo campus’ Fall Festival is coming up on Sunday, October 27. If you’d like to help with this fun, family-friendly outreach event, we will be collecting individually wrapped candy between now and the day of the event. Donations may be left in the donation containers outside the sanctuary and Fellowship Hall.
