Welcome to First Methodist Church! We are so glad you are here. Whatever your week has been like, whatever your life has been like, whatever you look like, and whether you believe what we believe or disagree with us, you are welcome in this place in the name of Jesus Christ.
Have a prayer request? Please text prayer requests to us at (806) 304-5905, or email prayer@firstmethodist.church.
If this is your first time here, we have a gift for you! Visit the welcome table in the foyer, and a member of our Guest Connections Team (they’ll be wearing a white name tag) will happily assist you.
Our nursery is available for infants to pre-k students. We believe in family worship, so your kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with you. We have a time for children during worship where kids are invited to come forward to hear from our children’s ministry team. If your children are joining you in worship, we offer “wiggle bags” filled with activities for your children to do during worship. Wiggle bags may be found in the back of the sanctuary.
Today is the final day to order lilies to adorn our worship spaces on Easter Sunday. Ordering envelopes may be picked up from the pew-back pockets or welcome area and may be returned to the offering plate or dropped off in the church office.
Due to Holy Week, there will not be a fellowship meal this week, and GrowGroups will not meet. Youth and their parents will be contacted about this week's youth events, and Confirmands will still head to Groom on Wednesday evening.
You're invited to an evening of reflection and worship this Friday, April 3, at 6:30 in our sanctuary as we remember and ponder Jesus' suffering and death on the cross. We will be joined by an artist who will create an interactive painting during the service. Childcare provided.
On Palm Sunday, we celebrate and remember Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem on the back of a colt. We have a surprise planned for this day that your children will remember for years to come!
Join Hayden in the sanctuary this Saturday morning from 11:00 to 11:15 for our final Saturday Communion service of the Lenten season. Come remember Christ’s sacrifice, His death on the cross, and experience His love for you.
Next Sunday, experience the hope and joy of the resurrection of Christ in one of several ways!
• Traditional services at 8:30 and 10:50 a.m., sanctuary
• Modern service at 10:50 a.m. in Fellowship Hall
Children of all ages are always welcome in worship, but if you need it, childcare will be available. Adult Sunday school class meetings will be optional; children's classes will not meet.
