Are You a First-Time Guest?

If this is your first time here, we have a gift for you! Visit the welcome table in the foyer, and a member of our Guest Connections Team (they’ll be wearing a white name tag) will happily assist you.

Nursery and Childcare

Our nursery is available for infants to pre-k students. We believe in family worship, so your kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with you. We have a time for children during worship where kids are invited to come forward to hear from our children’s ministry team. If your children are joining you in worship, we offer “wiggle bags” filled with activities for your children to do during worship. Wiggle bags may be found in the back of the sanctuary.

What's New at First Methodist

Wednesday Night Ministries Begin this Week

Starting this Wednesday, we're offering a variety of ways for you to grow deeper in your faith, experience community, and learn more about anything from hymns and their history to parenting. GrowGroup brochures are available at the welcome areas.

Our fellowship meal is also starting again! Join us in Fellowship Hall this Wednesday starting at 5:30. There is no cost, but donations are accepted.

Adult GrowGroups, children's, and youth ministries will meet from 6:15 to 7:30, and the nursery will be open for kids from birth through preschool.

Homecoming Sunday: Helping People Find Their Way Home

As a family of faith, we have a heart for welcoming those who have become disconnected from First Methodist Church. On September 13, we are going to have a family reunion — a joyful and welcoming Sunday where people can reconnect with friends, rediscover the life of our church, and most importantly, experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that people will not only find their way back to church, but find their way home to the Lord — and leave saying, “I’m so glad the Lord led me to FMC!”

Praying for General Conference

The Global Methodist Church's General Conference will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, August 30 through September 5. This week, we invite you to be in prayer for the West District prayer warriors: Sue Gordon, Debbie Knight, Buddy Moore, Kerrigan Hensley, Amy Meek, and Nancy Riley.
